If I'm "Mork And Mindy" then Below Average Dave is "Happy Days"...

When I saw his list of his Epic 20, I knew that I also had to create a list of songs that I thought were epic, and also were a few of my favorite songs.
So my New Years Resolution this year to accompany the classic "lose weight", "find a girlfriend", and of course the new arrival "Finally make a damn recording!" this list is also making the... list?
These songs have all been chosen for different reasons, all of them are difficult, but none are impossible. I plan to do these this year, and I invite you all to take a break from the typical "Big Seven", and take a gander at the songs I think really are a challange.

For 2008, I resolve to enjoy all these epic parodies that Matthias and Dave will be writing.  :D

maybe I'll pick one to work on while going extra slug pace with my remaining Big 7. 

I'm happy to report that I have parodied #7 and #10 with great success.

"Hardware Store" would be a bee-yotch, compared with the others on that list.

I also made a play list to help out anybody who needs it.
(Although Dave's Epic-20 is getting more action than mine is. I guess the original is always better than the remake.)

Well Matthias--you've got the creator involved to, it's just two lists are more difficult to aim at that's all. . .but it's good to have goals.

OK... I've done (& recorded) "I've been Everywhere"; parodied but not recorded "Sweet Transvestite" and "Californication" (fairly appropriately as "Transvestitillation")

But that's it.

I've done "I've Been Everywhere", and I've got "Rock Lobster" and "Wannabe" in the pipeline.

Some of those OSs are terrifying, Matty, esp. "Feel Good Inc."...I have no idea where you'd start with that one

The only one on the list that I've done a parody on so far was I've Been Everywhere called I Know My Weed. Other than that, the others could provide future challenges. I've been toying with Rockstar over the last couple of months. Just haven't had any set idea on how to approach the song yet.

I've done both I've Been Everywhere and Feel Good Inc. - the latter of which won me the Wild Card Round of 2006. Yay for me!
