Not really parody material IMO - more like something for the political board.
Total failure on everyone's part in that video (except possibly the cameraman's), but Christ on a crutch, can't 6 rent a cops take a guy down without using a taser?
What the heck, I might take a stab at "Dazed And Confused" called "Tazed And Abused" (or maybe "Tazed For My Views"...).

I've had a change of heart in the last hour - it's great parody material, especially with Robert Plant's wails. I present:
"Tased And Confused" to Led Zep's "Dazed And Confused":
Was tased and confused, now it's up on YouTube
Ask the hard questions - they don't know what do
Lots of people talking, most search for a quote
Voice from a student saying "Don't Tase Me, Bro!"
His words were subdued: pulled the plug on his mic
And the whole scene's crazy as the thought police strike
He may be crazy, but not I-rain-ee-in
Cops are tazer happy - they did it again
What you say can travel far - but in the age of today
Never talk of "blow jobs" - or they'll take away
'least you had your moment, in that aud-i-tor-i-um
Then you went crazy - that seemed, kinda, dumb!
Arrgh!
Arrgh!
(so you) were tased for your views, now it's up on YouTube
Ask the hard questions - on the blogs and the news
Lots of people talking, but all search for a quote
Voice from a student screaming, please, "Don't Tase Me, Bro!"
AHHHHHHH!!!! AHHHHHHH!!!!!

Thanks. I might even have a recording up tomorrow: I have the backing track sans vocals as well as about 5 sound bites from the video, including "Don't Tase Me, Bro!" ;D
I'm trying to edit out most of the solo without creating a noticeable gap in the recording - wish me luck.
Edit: I managed to (fairly) seamlessy cut 3:05 out of the solo (heresy for a Zep tune, but waiting 3 miuntes for the final verse...meh).
Now the hardest part: sounding anything like Robert Plant, and timing the lyrics....

Chucky G -- here's my work-in-progress:
To the tune of "Y.M.C.A." by The Village People,
"Don't Tase Me, Bro" by Johnny D
Stun-man, why did you throw me down?
I said, stun-man, help me up from the ground!
I said, stun-man, 'cause I'm just a big clown --
There no need, to, be, stun-zappy!
Stun-man, you've got mace you can spray,
I said, stun-man, in my face where I lay
If you spray there, I'll stay there and not bolt
But please don't, give, me, that big jolt!
(ZAP ZAP ZAP ZAP ZAP)
Please let me go and just, don't, tase me bro!
Please let me go and just, don't, tase me bro!
I have not done a thing, that would make me deserve,
ev'ry blue lightning bolt you serve!
Please let me go and just, don't, tase me bro!
Please let me go and just, don't, tase me bro!
You don't need to be mean, you don't need to reveal,
how a zap in my ass would feel !!

Anybody want to take on Bob Dylan's threat with "Do Not Tase Me, Bro" to "Desolation Row"? ;)

I get more of an ELO "Don't Bring Me Down" vibe:
You got me freezin' from a taser assault
That's 'cause you hit me with ten thousand-ish volts
Don't tase me, bro
No, no, no, no, no
I'll ask you once more
Before I get off the floor
Don't tase me, bro
Why did I run into you out on patrol?
You got me worried 'bout my sphincter control
Don't tase me, bro
Ow, ow, ow, ow, ow-ooowoo
Don't fire no more
I'll come quiet, I'm sure
Don't tase me, bro
Hmm.. may be worth finishing - what do you reckon?

"Don't Bring Me Down" was the second song that came to my mind when brainstorming ideas, so I'd go for it. If you ever record it, the sound bite speed of "Don't tase me, bro!" should be very close to the original lines.

Red Ant and Johnny D both did excellent parodies, and it appears that Phil Alexander is off to a good start, but I found it somewhat interesting that none of the parodies mentions the senator whose speech was interrupted by the out-of-control interro-Gator.

Good pun there, John, and thank you. I suppose with me it was due to the quick write and limited lines, but it was also due to the fact that this student's actions would have been outrageous no matter who was speaking.
Phil, if you're still working on that parody:

Seems several people thought of ELO with this story. :-\\

I wasn't... that one is pretty good, especially this couplet:
I should be studying for mid-term exams,
Instead of preening for the videocams.
I'll make Chucky happy and post it in the partial parodies :)
