I have no idea whether it's Dibble (as in Top Cat), Die-ble (to rhyme with "Bible"), Diblee, Deebluh (kind of a French variant).
It has struck me since starting this thread that a Top Cat "Gee, Officer Dibble" parody might work... if only it hadn't been two dozen years since the last time I watched Top Cat.
