We need a warm up before tackling the monster "The Devil's Glitch", so 99 Bottles of Beer on the Wall seems a good choice. I've had this idea for ages, but I believe at the time I was gonna post this project there was a 99BOBOTW parody in a contest, so I put aside the idea... until now.

Finding a topic to sustain all 99 lines and vary them all would be difficult, but I have found one: overused rhyme pairs in original songs. How many love/of, girl/world, to/you, rhymes can we take?! No more!

So, think of all the songs with tired rhymes, and work them into the third line of each verse. I've heard substantial variations of the third line, anywhere from "take one down, drink it down" to "you take one down and pass it around" to "If one of those bottles should happen to fall" - in other words, no need to count syllables at all, just make it rhyme internally (as with the first two examples) or with the 4th line.

Feel free to vary that in each verse to something that suits what you want to say. Kudos for working in actual lines from other songs

Just something that came to mind. When you have all of your contributions, Im just wondering how you will acknowledge the contributers. Will you be acknowledging them verse by verse, or will it be something like a special 'thank you to Kristof Robertson, Tommy Turtle etc etc.'? where you will list them?
