Subject: 50,000 parodies
Written By: EthanM on 07/04/07 at 3:27 pm
How frequently is the # of parodies counter updated? If it's updated daily then the 50,000th parody at amiright should show up tomorrow. If not, it's already there. 50 thousand is a lot of parodies.

I don't know... I think it updates every day when I update the parodies. So tomorrow it will be. Amazing. I thought the 100,000 misheard lyrics would appear before the 50,000 parody mark. It was close though.

Today was a slow day, which is no surprise because of the holiday, so the benchmark should be reached on the 6th

Maybe I should submit one then, maybe 2 if I can. I've got one ready to go and one that needs a couple of lines fixed.

I would have thought we'd reach 100k misheard lyrics before 50k parodies.

This was it. No regular submitter to the site has ever submitted a parody for a meaningless milestone it seems. That's a good thing, means lots of new people come through the site.
