Subject: Help me with my parody..need it for Saturday- Songs about dogs

My band is playing at a big event that promotes awareness about dogs and dog care. I was in the car and The Monkees were singing and I began my own version of "I'm a Beliver". Help me finish it so we can perform it on Saturday!! Also, if you think of any other song that is easly twisted into a dog tribute, let me know!
BTW, the theme song for the event is "you're My Best Friend" by Queen.
Here is what i wrote.
Then I licked your face, cuz I"m a retriever
not a toy or ball I can't find
I'm a dog
I'm a retreiver I'll never leave her stick behind....

Well, there's three already (plus one more spelt wrong)
You might drop Malcolm a line to see if you can use his: http://www.amiright.com/parody/60s/themonkees11.shtml (it seems to be in the right sort of vein, and has the "licked your face" bit in already)
Not sure I'd be able to suggest lyrics that haven't been done already...

there's a twist at the very end that you can just leave off, so that the words will remain all about a dog
