I am seriously considering writing a full album parody of Prince's The Hits compilation. If anyone has unused parody ideas, suggestions or wants to collaborate, post here. Cheers, Ag.

I feel I've done my share of zombie themed parodies for the foreseeable future and since I happen to have one such idea for a Prince song (and have had so for some time now without finding new will to get down with the theme) I'll gladly give it to you. The title says it all:
"Eatin' brains" to "Purple Rain"
I've also considered a Hannibal Lecter theme for it, but Johnny D's current entry in the SOTM pretty much killed that angle for the next six months or so.
Do with it what you like!

There are probably SO many angles you could take "When Doves Cry" from...not all of which involve celebrities (but many do)

'fraid I don't know too many Prince songs and the ones I do know I haven't heard in a long time...
For "1999", how about "My Teen Whine and Whines" or "Eileen (Irene) Wined And Dined"

Cat is right in looking for the track list. What I'm going to do is keep this on-going with indicators of what needs work, and what is done. Don't be afraid of the dreaded "DKTOS" issues...when I first looked at the list on Friday, I was surprised I never heard probably half of the songs. This hasn't stopped me. My source of extensive lyrics has been very helpful, going so far as to transcribe many of the vocal ad libs in addition to the actual lyrics.

Zombies and Horror is a theme I've done, if not to death (pun intended) then at least quite enough for to give away an idea. It's not like I don't get ideas along those lines 365 days per year anyway, like when I look in the mirror in the morning for starters... :P

Help!I hate to tip my hat regarding an unfinished parody, but so be it. I call Star Trek Voyager fans to the thread. I got the chorus and 1 verse of a parody of "7"--about....guess...7 Of 9!

If you still need ideas for "Cream," I have an idea... but it's probably been done before. How about doing the song about the band Cream and/or Eric Clapton. And how about "When Eggs Fry?" The zombie and Hannibal ideas work, too. Maybe 1999 can become "Nineteen Human Thighs" or something like that, sung by Hannibal?
As for "Kiss," since you don't want a KISS parody, how about "Styx" instead? Or if all else fails, "P*ss."
