Same basic deal as my last show and 2nz's show last month. It's at NY comedy club on 24th street between 2nd and 3rd avenue. It's on a friday so it hopefully should be more convenient than the other shows, which were in the middle of the week. There is a 2 drink minimum in addition to the $12 cover charge, but the drinks are relatively inexpensive and it's a contest so everyone should be doing their best material. And if I win, I'll get to do a lot of shows without having to bring anyone.

YOu finally have one on a Friday, but I may not be in the state that day... :(  I'll have to see.  Ive got to be back in the state by Saturday (the 7th) morning to pick my gf up from the airport, so I dont know when I'm coming back.

Is kimba interested?

I don't think I'll be able to make this one because I work until 7pm on Fridays on Long Island. But regardless another show sounds very cool Ethan. Best of luck. What songs are you fixing to do and how much time do you have to do them?

There are just 7 minutes so I really just have time for one song. Especially going over the 7 minutes means immediate and irreversible disqualification. I'm planning on doing "I miss the night sky" and a fairly ridiculous monologue  that I wrote yesterday before it.

You probably could make it in from long island if you wanted to, but I can understand why you might not want to show up at or a little after 9 exhausted and starving.

I actually am probably going to cancel... I have no reservations so far and I am performing every monday now in exchange for helping out with the show. It's tiring, but there's a lot more security than having to harass people about shows.

I officially cancelled and apparently I can't do anymore shows for that company because I gave such short notice. I'm probably not going to try to do ashow where I have to bring a lot of people again, but if there's one with one or 2 required I'll let you know

You know, I live pretty close to Prospect Park - about two months ago I got this email about a movie that was being shot in the Park where they wanted a bunch of dogs to be in the movie.  The credits of the movie were even going to list the dogs' names.  Anyway, it was planned for a Sunday morning at 7:00 but it rained.  So they rescheduled it for the following Wednesday.  If it had been a weekend, I would have done it.

I saw the bode miller piece on tv.  today on the news it's said that his sponsors want tto pul out and that he should leave the US team
becuase of what he said on the show, about being a party animal.

I wouldn't be opposed to doing a show in the park sometime... I'd get to perform for much longer than usual. Just as long as the dogs don't break anything
