Subject: Comment spam is beginning to get out of hand

It's too bad the spammers are able to pretty much ruin everything on the web, and the government does nothing to prosecute them further.
Half of the spam now doesn't even serve a purpose, there's no link to the site even in the comments, yet they continue to spam the site with them.
I'm going to have to make the move to registered accounts for leaving feedback. Everytime I adjust the site to slow these jerks down, they detect it and modify their tatics.

I don't have a problem with a registered account, but what would keep a spammer from registering as well and continue posting worthless comments?
As long as the spammers keep being idiots I will keep reporting their comments.

not really sure... it might slow them down though, especially if they need to use an email account to do it
