Me and my compradre Dumb ass Kid would like to complain about a certain Joey Lawrence submtting a parody, ALOT like one we posted a few days ago. Here is the copy which he submitted:

And here is the parody we posted a few days before him whihc he copied quite a bit of

http://www.amiright.com/parody/2000s/bahamen8.shtml

Mr Kid and I expect something to be done with an apology from Mr Lawrence at the very least

Whatever.  There are so many duplicate ideas/titles/themes etc. on this site...you've got to be kidding me.  You have no way of proving that Joey Lawrence even READ your parody...let alone that he copied it.  And if he thought of it all on his own...just like you 2 did...(and Gonfonko, apparently)...then he has just as much right to post it as anyone.

Yes, and my best example of that was 2 days ago.  I did "Love Is A Happy Meal" (to "Love Is A Battlefield") as a tribute to Jeff R becoming a dad (although I'd had the title in my head for a while)

then I find out there's already been a parody posted called "Lunch Is a Happy Meal" - but get this - that parody was written by Jeff R himself - imagine the odds

taking offense seems to be the default state of so many readers here

I've seen stuff posted that's similar to some of my old stuff  - what's the problem? - where's the victim? - it's too small a thing to be bothered with

What do yo umean 'copied quite a bit of'? The ONLY thing similar between the two is the title, and as Gonfunko shows, even your idea wasn't uniquely original. There are numerous 'Constipated' parodies that copy each others words, but the two frog parodies here are completely different.

I must admit, the idea isn't that original - after all, what's the first word you think of that rhymes with "dog"? I'm sure someone did it before me - but mine was without 3rd party influence. Another good example would be "Rogaine" off of "Cocaine" - it's about the only possible parody.I did such a parody, but before I submitted it, I did a search - it turned up about 15 parodies with the same title/idea. In fact, some of them even shared lines word per word with mine. What I'm getting at is that people can have the same ideas without necessarily stealing them, and even if they do, it's kind of par for the course with the Internet. Copyright needs a major overhaul for the online world.

this crap is ridiculous
the same thing occurred with DarkJon64 and I.He had a paroidy named "Supersize"
and mine was titled "Supersized" and it was the exact same topic.

Not to be rude, but stop whinin'
you wil never have an idea that no one has had for a parody or will later have.
