Almost a year, and Avril Lavigne and Hillary Duff fans are still posting hate mail back and forth to each other on this page.  The only place it appears, is on the latest comments page and in google searches.  Who are these people and how can we keep them from reproducing?

If I had the spare time, I'd find some means to bottle this animosity and make a site off it, and retire from all the huge cash I'd make from advertising on it, since I'm sure thousands of rabid pop fans would drive the hit counts insane.

I like this idea....it would be even better if you could get Avril Luhveen (how it should be spelled) and Hillary Duff to go at each other too... ::)

You don't need a new site... there's opportunity right there on the thread's existing page.  ;)

(Assuming any still exist) you could start by tracking down a pay-per-impression affiliate for the thread page and sticky a new link to that article to the top of the articles, so it generates even more traffic... maybe something like this: "The Legendary Amiright Poser Wars!  Avril or Hillary?  Which is the poser and which is the real deal?  The battle rages on!"   Then you get yourself a couple of 900 numbers and sprinkle this liberally around the page:  "Who's better, Avril or Hillary?  Phone 1-900-AV-ROCKS to vote for Avril or 1-900-HIL-RULZ to vote for Hillary!   $1.99 per call, ask parent's permission.   Or better yet, just get one 900 number and invite them to pay $3.99 for the first minute and $1.99 for each additional minute to rant, cry or deify into an answering machine that continually overwrites itself.   Then there's all the "Amiright.com Poser Wars Hero" & "Amiright.com Poser Wars Veteran" (etc., etc., etc.,) Cafe Press merchandise you can hawk on the page.

Maybe the thing to do would be write a parody along the lines of "Duff the Plastic Avril" and submit it as a related parody: think of all the exposure...

Though if I could run a seperate site for just the idiots, maybe they wouldn't have any free time to spend money on awful music?  Could I run that as a non-profit? Saving music from the tone-deaf?  A noble cause if ever there were one.
