On this parody announcement thread, please use proper self-censorship and asterisks as needed when you announce the names of new parodies being posted on www.whatfreaks.com ..... Thank you! ;D

I keep reading this...and then I log off...and then when I log back on, it says there is a new post on this board...and there never is. >:( So maybe if post something, it will stop.

"The Erection Of Edmund Fitzgerald", a parody of "The Wreck Of The Edmund Fitzgerald" by Gordon Lightfoot. This one is already up and visible on www.whatfreaks.com .... I submitted it to WhatFreaks back in September of 2003, but Chucky had put WhatFreaks on ice back then....so....it became the first parody I ever posted on Amiright. However, it also lay dormant in the WhatFreaks input-queue since last September, and Chucky recently started posting the parodies that have been waiting in the WhatFreaks queue....so now it's on WhatFreaks, too!
============================================================
The following parodies have been submitted to WhatFreaks, but have not been posted by Chucky yet:
"Got Off Inside Her Gizzard", a parody of "We're Off To See The Wizard" from The Wizard of OZ.
"The Choker", a parody of "The Joker" by Steve Miller Band. This parody was rejected for posting on Amiright a while back....now it's found a home!
"J*zzman", a parody of "Jazzman" by Carole King, the uncensored version of the parody already posted on Amiright.
"Qu*m The Frisky Ho", the uncensored version of the same parody posted here on Amiright, a parody of "Quinn The Eskimo (The Mighty Quinn)" by Bob Dylan.
"A Tighter Grade Of Tail", a parody of "A Whiter Shade Of Pale" by Procol Harum.
"My Golden Shower Girl", a parody of "The Rain, The Park, And Other Things (The Flower Girl)" by The Cowsills (already posted on Amiright, but it also fits-in with WhatFreaks' format, too).

I haven't finished clearing out the queue yet either. Still have another 25 or so waiting until tomorrow night.
Not sure when I'm going to do the comments thing... hopefully soon.

Well, over on "Whatfreaks" I've submitted my version of Jim Croce's "I Got A Name", "I've Got A Schl*ng" (is it OK to day "Schl*ng" here?) And I had one I sent in while it was dormant that might show up in the postings, using the handle "par", I believe (clever, huh?). Maybe I can repost that under the handle I've decided to use there, the equally witty, clever and imaginative, "Paul R"...

"Quite Fine Beaver" a parody of the Flying Burrito Brothers excellent cover of Merle Haggard's classic "White Line Fever". AND, inspired by something Malcolm posted over there that brought out a feeling of intense nostalgia I quickly wrote and fired off "They Were Hot Lays" a few minutes ago, a parody of Cream's wonderful original, "Those Were The Days" from the frantic 60's...
Thanks,
Paul R

coming soon to "Whatfreaks" - "Just Some Porn To Make It Grow" using the Crosby, Stills & Nash tune "Just A Song Before I Go". I'm not abandoning the "amiright" site, folks. Some of these I wrote and never submitted for obvious reasons so I'm putting them up over there now. So they are sort of like those "Summer Replacement" shows on TV. Been in the "can" and on the shelf for a while waiting for a chance to be shown...

I was humming 'Jenny from the Block' (oh! The double-entendre!) when a filthy chorus shot into my head (oh! the double-entendre!)
I DKTOS, so simply copy/pasted the lyrics and redid the rest right then and there! The result is my first WhatFreaks.com entry:
Twenty For A F***
(I'll link it when it's up tomorrow. (oh! The double-entendre!)
