Subject: Free Song Parody MP3s?
Written By: James on 07/14/04 at 2:13 am
Hello everyone! I had no idea there was a spot on the web devoted to talking about the art of parody (though I shouldn't be surprised - there's a site for everything these days). . . . There seems a shortage of venues for sharing our hard work - so I wondered if anyone had any mp3's on the web that they'd like to link to? Or know of any other good sites like this one, amiright, and cyberparodies.com for sharing song parodies? Bring 'em on!
Does anyone enjoy hip-hop? I've taken to writing and performing some parodies of my own. Each one has a seperate page where you can download the mp3 and read the lyrics if so inclined. Here are the links:
Parody of the 50 Cent song, "In Da Club" - here's "In Da Tub":
http://www.headhook.com
From the Ludacris track, "Stand Up" - here's "Fall Down":
http://www.headhook.com/Fall-Down.html
Parody of the Lil' Jon & The Eastside Boyz song, "Get Low" - here's "I'm Slow":

I hope you like them. I look forward to hearing your stuff! Great community, everyone. Honored to be a contributor!

Hi, James
If you look at the front page of the amiright site (www.amiright.com), you'll see a link to "Submit a Comedy Song Performance" so you can highlight you work to the world.. (well, to amiright-watchers, anyway - the site with my recordings on has had roundabout eight thousand hits which must have nearly all come from amiright.
Must admit I'm not particularly into the hip-hop scene, but I'll have a listen
Phil

Hey thanks a lot Phil! I actually looked for something like that on amiright.com quite a while ago - and forgot to check for it again! What should I look for of yours?
