Shortly after Chucky gave song parodies their own board, he mentioned that he was surprised no one had started a thread like the limerick one in the penguin board games area except with parodies.  Recently we did, a little bit, on that Elton John thread Jack Wilson started and I thought I'd give it a try.  For convenience, I'm pasting the original lyrics to "Take It Easy" by the Eagles, and started the first couple lines.  It's pretty self-explanatory from there:  feel free to add as much as you like but don't force it.  If we end up with a whole song I thought I'd submit it in the monkey room.  Unless it totally blows, which could happen.  So let's give it a go, eh?

I guess I'll beat everyone else to the obvious comment. It looks crappy to me.

Well, maybe it shoulda been called "Makin Feces", but I'm thrilled with how it went; thanks everyone.  Running out of time this morning so I'll hafta submit it later though.

I vote for really good. better than 95% of the stuff that gets posted.
