Also, I was involved in a project with a couple friends from the "Weird Al" Yankovic forum which was pretty good but they just dropped the whole thing. ::) Figures. You guys wanna take up their parts? I need 2 of you for this project, both of you will get two verses each. The song is a parody of 24 Hours to Live by Ma$e called 24 Dollars to Spend. The chorus goes something like this:

If you just want to record your parts and send the finished (accapella) version to me I can mix it because I have the 40 Oz. instrumental.

What I do when recording is play the original song in the background and rap to that to make sure I'm on beat and everything so if you want to do that...if you really must have the instrumental then I'm sure I can get it to you somehow. I don't have MSN Messanger, though.

One thing, Xander, I don't mean to be a ***** but the idea of a parody is to make it sound just like the original and I don't think your part matched the anger and fast paced, warm blooded, murderful feel of the original. Now I don't want you to get offended or anything, I'll still put your part as I have it, in the song if you'd like but you may also redo it. I don't want you to feel bad, I liked your part, it was very original, had a style to it but I don't know if that fits the song. It's up to you, either way.

I still use mine that I got a long time ago. Great quality and lasts a long time, plus, it's only 20 dollars. So, Wolv, I'll help in any way I can.

No it's not my mic, I know that for sure.  It's something to do with the way my computer got set-up.  Somehow someway, it got screwed.  I'll mess with it when I have the time.

I'll give it another go - give you a choice - I get ya on the violentlessness of my part...I'm gonna work on it.

Ok, just because I'm weird and a label freak, what should we call DGWP's first album? DGWP World? Something more creative? That's cool.
Also, I was thinking that on records and as the artist label when we submit things we could call ourselves DGWP instead of Dumb Guys -wit- Parodies. Just like D12 doesn't call themselves the Dirty Dozen but everyone knows that's what it stands for, same kind of thing. Also, DGWP just sounds really cool 8) Ideas? Comments? Burritos?
