First I'd like to thank everyone who's been reading carefully, following instructions, and voting every round. This would really suck if you didn't. This should go even quicker so I'm shooting for tomorrow night or so; that way we can have the big showdown between the two bracket winners finished by the weekend. Thanks again.

The lyrics were funnier and I was actually familiar with the song! I am totally unfamiliar with "Suite Judy Blue Eyes." The only suites I know of are "Suite Madame Blue," "The Nutcracker Suite," and "Bohemian Rhapsody."

I count eight plus my vote (5) makes it nine. I'm going out on a limb here and saying that Spaff isn't voting since he made it clear he'd be gone from the 12th to the 21st I think. Either way, congratulations Rick (and everyone else for that matter); hopefully I'll have the FINAL voting thread up sometime tonight.

Yes, that's the plan. There was a total of 30 participants but we've lost a few along the way. I was hoping we'd have Bracket 1 resolved tonight but we're missing a few voters. I plan to try rounding them up but if we're still short tomorrow I'll ask for volunteers from this bracket to go help again. I sincerely hope to have the final voting thread up tomorrow.

First, let me say I'm blown away already that this song has gone this far. I really have to thank Claude, not for all the time and effort, but for pulling his own "Pee My Test". I know I would have voted for that over everything else. When I first submitted "Sweat", I got a good but not a great reaction. When time came for this contest, Mari picked it for me, because my own opinions are usually off the beaten path. I haven't been able to fully comment and read for the last couple days because Comcast has left us high and dry. But thank you all so much, and I mean both sides of the voting. From both of us. I was just happy not to get bumped in the first round. I was reluctant to enter this because I always have mixed feelings about the voting and winning/losing and especially "beating my wife". As I said before, this is one of the first songs I ever learned to play, now I guess I'll have to perform this live somewhere. Anyway, I guess I'm voting for me and living with the insecurity. (No, dear, I wasn't talking about you!)
