Again, this round should go even quicker. Deadline is Monday night and just as a reminder, everyone who voted in Bracket 1 in the first round should vote in this round, then the next round, then the final vote between the two bracket winners. The songs that did not advance are included below for convenience if you still want to leave a regular vote or comment.
Also, since it appears Joelle is no longer participating I won't be voting this round unless it becomes necessary. So we should have fifteen voters. If Joelle does vote (which I hope she does), then I will so we'll have 17 again.

Vote: 5 Jeff Reuben "Free Parking"
Pacing, pacing, pacing...that's what can make or break a parody for me, personally, unless the parody is hilarious or extremely clever.
Not only does Jeff's "Free Parking" have superlative pacing, but it's hilarious and extremely clever, too - imagine matching Tom Petty up with Monopoly!
And with brilliant lines like:
"And all the bad boys, will rob Community Chest"
"But the good girls, just won't take a Chance"
...how can I do anything else but cast my vote for Jeff's "Free Parking" ?
Congratulations, Jeff!

Vote: 6 Earl S. Garber "Nerd City"
What can I say? In school I was an uber-geek...and I still like Star Trek and The Lord Of The Rings... Need more credentials? Okay, how about these: in college, one of my favorite pasttimes was playing a medieval fantasy/strategy role-playing game based loosely on "Dungeons And Dragons".
"Nerd City" is hilarious, very clever, and has excellent pacing. And it doesn't hurt that it humorously reflects a lot of my own youth, too!
Well done, Earl!
P.S. Want more evidence? OK, how about this: I attended a Star Trek convention in Boston - in-costume as one of Landru's Law-Givers, from TOS Episode 22 "The Return Of The Archons". Live Long And Prosper!
Johnny D :) ;) :D ;D ;D

I'd have to go for #5 because it is an absolute AmIRight classic ;D
I also like #7 because it seemed more involved and difficult to parody :)

Well we've now passed the deadline. Since Joelle (along with two others) didn't vote that means 15 is the total we were going for so #5 and 6 have advanced. I'm posting the 4th round voting thread now.
