Subject: Parody comment spam needs to end
it's one thing to post a response to someone's parody, and mention they should check out yours. It's another to leave comments on every popular parody with a generic "I read yours please come read mine" message, when it's clear they didn't read anything. Due to the structure of the site, it's much easier to remove an offending parody than 200 comments.
There's at least two individuals who are guilty of doing stuff like this, and it's going to end as of today.

Thanks!
You know that I've had problems with spam, and it all started with someone asking me to read their parody!
Good idea to nip it in the bud. :)

Okay Chuck, I think it's time to pull the plug. The recent comments section is flooded with annoying crap from "Chris" plugging his lame Shania Twain obsession. There must be a hundred long comments on everyone's songs. You warned him,and so did a few of us.

To paraphrase Boomhauer: 'Y'all just goin' click, click, click, click, click n paste, paste n'ever'body gettin' angrier n'angier n'don't matter if it good or if's not just be so annoyin' about it. Be like me go an knock, knock, knock on yer door every time I'm writin' some small thing n'it just...no way to make friends, man.'

ChuckyG - Yup! Looks like it's time to pull Chris's leash here. He really went over the top with this one. Before I realized he spammed everyone I put a rather pointed reply to his spam on one of my songs. It's hard to figure out what he thought he might accomplish with this stunt. It's not like you (and many of the writers') didn't give him enough kind advice and warnings. Thanks, Paul R.

Thanks, Chucky. I posted an objecting view to Chris' spam and asked you for help before I read this. Thanks, again.

Rick, I counted over 265 spam entries before I tired of it and went to bed.

And exactly what appears to be the problem here? ???

Absolutely nothing except for this little posting by this site's web master:
