I made it into the top five for the first time, and in two categories, even!! Yippee!!

I had to double check the date on this because I couldnt beleive that it hasnt happened before....are you sure youve never hit the top 5? lol.....that seems impossible

IKWYM Billy - but I guess part of the attraction (for me, anyway) of Melhi's songs is their quirkiness...
(fx: goes off and looks for the song in question...)
Super stuff... I'm not surprised this one's made the grade: it's to a well-known tune, it's well written and everyone can relate to it.

Yep, I'm sure I've never made it into top 5, before. I've checked about a dozen times to make sure that's really my name up there next to that 5, though!

Thanks Phil! Some I've thought really stood a fighting chance of getting that high didn't even make top 10 and with everyone so busy, lately, I really wasn't expecting to get more than 3 or 4 votes on this one. I'm just bowled over! ...and you know what, I think I'm as thrilled as I am precisely because it did take so long to get there. :)

enhanced info screen for Melhi shows top ten a few times, but this is certainly the first top 5... is there a place where I only list the top 5 still?

in the enhanced info it lists peak position for every song to make the top ten - that's how you can tell if it made the top 5 or not

Thanks Johnny D.! Chucky, if there is a list of just top 5, I haven't seen it, yet. The top half of the top 10 is just a level I haven't been able to reach, before now -- my own personal "Cover of the Rolling Stone," if you will.

Thanks Joelle and Aussie! Aussie, I'd race you, but it took me more than nine months to get as high as number 5. I doubt there's a chart topper in my immediate future. I get good numbers, though, so it doesn't bug me.
