Subject: Parodies with the original artist field left blank
Chucky-- what's with all these parodies where the original performer field being left blank? I mean, if the field is left blank and the person tries to submit it, it shouldn't be accepted. I know I commented on one of these parodies yesterday saying something like this. The following parodies all have the "original artist" field as null:
http://www.amiright.com/parody/misc/0.shtml -- should be Buddy Holly and the Crickets
http://www.amiright.com/parody/70s/1.shtml -- should be Johnny Rivers
http://www.amiright.com/parody/60s/1.shtml -- should be the Beatles
http://www.amiright.com/parody/70s/2.shtml -- should be Queen
http://www.amiright.com/parody/60s/3.shtml -- should be Herman's Hermits
http://www.amiright.com/parody/60s/2.shtml -- should be Rolling Stones
http://www.amiright.com/parody/2000s/1.shtml -- should be White Stripes
The others I’m not sure about:
http://www.amiright.com/parody/misc/2.shtml http://www.amiright.com/parody/misc/3.shtml and
http://www.amiright.com/parody/70s/3.shtml
P.S. to Chucky: I'm sure it would be a lot of work to make these corrections, but it doesn't seem right for something to be missing. ;)

I believe the problem that is causing parodies to sometimes appear in the title field on the homepage, is to blame for this. I will look into when I can

I've noticed before that the submissions form has had trouble with string parsing, ie an apostrophe or quote has thrown it off. Perhaps if you enter
'The Rolling Stones'
instead of
The Rolling Stones
?

Yeah, that White Stripes parody from the other day is mine. Chucky - if it's easier to take that one down and I'll resubmit it with all the info, that doesn't bother me. As I said, it's only a couple of days old, and it hasn't gotten many votes so far anyway.

I found one of today's entries that has a null artist field: http://www.amiright.com/parody/60s/4.shtml
Subject: Here's yet another one :(

What's causing this?

Am I the only one besides "TVOD" who notices these? Anyways, here is yet another one:
