Interesting discography.... I had no idea that the Eurythmics (duo) was once a bigger band called The Tourists. :o
And I would presume that "I Only Want To Be With You" was a cover of Dusty Springfield's 1964 hit.

It was a cover of Dusty's hit yes. Here's the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q_7FAyRyGkk
Some people say it's arguably the best cover of it, but I am quite partial to the '89 version by Samantha Fox

^ I do not know either version, only the original.
By the way, I remember "Seventeen Again"; I guess it must not have been very popular in the US? ??? I remember hearing it on the radio briefly in late 1999.

It was big on the US Dance chart, but it never charted in the US Billboard Hot 100

what a bummer :-\\
Many good songs don't seem to chart on the US BB Hot 100 these days.

Here's a few 'misses'...
The Tourists were previously known (for a short time) as The Catch, releasing one flop single in 1977 called 'Borderline' (not the Madge song!)...it appears never to have been re-released in any shape or form and will cost you handsomely for an original copy...
After 'Never Gonna Cry Again' grazed the UK charts, two following Eurythmics singles bombed...
'Belinda'
'This Is The House' (both singles also commanding impressive prices...)
...and 'Love Is A Stranger' was actually released in late-1982, only becoming a major hit after the success of 'Sweet Dreams'...

Not forgetting the Vegas collaboration of David A Stewart and Terry Hall (Specials/ Fun Boy Three) in 1992.
Possessed was the lead single from the eponymous album and by far the best track.
