Again, only know a few of her songs. 'Big Yellow Taxi' was okay.

Other songs I remember - "Free Man in Paris" and "Help Me, I Think I'm Falling"
She was involved with Graham Nash when CS & N got together and Graham Nash wrote "Our House" about her house.
She also wrote the song "Woodstock."

The one Joni Mitchell song I like best is "My Secret Place" from 1988. If you don't remember this song, that's cause it basically saw most of it's success in Canada :D

Her verison of her own song Both Sides Now is far superior than any other version.

She's one of the best songwriters of all time...far superior to Dylan musically and lyrically. She's a poet without bullsh*t. "A Case of You" is a good introduction to her music, if anybody wishes to download that...each of her albums is a complete being, ranging from her own conception of folk to her own conception of pop to her own conception of atmospheric, complex jazz.
