I know, it really does look great! the excerpt i read from it on her website kinda reminds me of Silence of the Lambs. Did you happen to catch her on Good Morning America the other day? she seems so intelligent in person!

no, I didn't catch that episode....but yes, she does seem like a very intelligent woman. I have read her book about Jack the Ripper...very insightful.

Her new book is part of her Kay Scarpetta series, which is completely fictional (she is very accurate with her facts on forensic science though) so dont feel like you have to read Jack the Ripper to start on her new one

So they just confirmed, somehow, that the hair was actually that of Beethoven..?

Yes, it was taken (as a tradition) from the head of Ludwig just after his death.

I hope to be discussing JTR when I get to start reading it.
Plus, JTR deserves a thread of it's own.

Believe it or not, I'm actually reading The Nightmare Hour by RL Stine. It's a collection of 17 of his horror stories. A friend of mine bought it for me. (After he couldn't locate the Stephen King novel I wanted!)
But it's okay, because I like Stine too. I've been reading his books since I was 9. ;)

I cannot just read 1 book. Too boreing for me. I have to have multiple things going at once. So here is my current list: The Illiad, A Tale of Two Cities, Once and Future King and The Aniad. That rounds it out.I like a little lite reading.
