Subject: Video stores

I don't know if these still exist or not, but did anyone go to those huge video stories, that were almost twice the size of Blockbuster, with huge ceilings? I used to have one near me, and miss it, lol.

Do you mean giant video stores in general, or was this a whole chain of ones with a name?
There used to be a great video store around here called Diamond Video. One year, my mom bought a gift certificate for videos as a gift for someone, and like a week later, the chain went out of business >:( :(

There are a lot of Blockbuster stores that have shut down around us. Honestly, with things like Netflix, Blockbuster Online, and On Demand Cable movies...I don't know how these stores thrive anymore. :-\\

I know this is a years-old post...but in the years since, the Blockbuster stores were gradually shutting down. Due in part to all the online stores, as mentioned here.
I do miss such places, to be honest.
