Subject: The new guy

Just joined, thought the site looked fun and friendly, and I like the decades boards.
A little about me for those who might want to know: my name is Chris, I am an amateur photographer/photomanipulator and diecast model car collector, and a chronic addict of music.

Thank you, they are great hobbies. Considering that I just moved into a new apartment, and had to pack up hundreds of diecast, hundreds of vinyl records (all LPs), a plastic travel soap dish full of SD cards and thousands of CDs & still have to move most of them, that's the not-so-great side of it. :-\\
Nice meeting you as well.

Another amateur photographer. I am, too. I hope to see some of your photography. You can see mine all over the place because I am constantly giving shameless plugs-such as this one. ;) :D ;D ;D ;D

I have several diecast cars from the late 90's. I used to be a NHRA Top Fuel Fan. I have a few Larry Dixon diecast cars.

Enjoy yourself here Chris, a wide variety of topics to look at. And there are a couple of people here really into cars like yourself. Here's a topic on older cars

Thanks. You got a real torn up Bonneville there. Is that a '62 or '63 Safari? I don't see many with the headlights on top of each other, usually side by side

Took a quick glance. WAY COOL!!!
I'm not a big car person but I really like some of your old, rusty cars. You really have a lot of great shots there-very good composition.

@cat: Thanks! I do shoot other stuff, mostly cars tho.
@warped: That's a 1962 Bonneville ambulance. Too much rust and too many missing or broken parts to be anything beyond scrap metal.

Hi Chris.
Welcome to the boards. :)
What kind of photography do you specialise in? I know a person who loves to go into old abandoned buildings and photograph them at night.
