Reading through many of the threads here would be a good start. That would also take all day...
I wrote a guide on writing parodies a while back. You may find some of the information there useful, and it would take considerably less time to read that post and the accompanying links than an entire board.
As you probably know, Weird Al has done "Smells Like Nirvana". Smells Like Teen Spirit has been a popular song to parody on AmiRight as well, with 102 entries now. Picking an original idea for that song is getting harder all the time, but I don't doubt for a moment there are hundreds of good or great ideas to the song that have not been written out.
IMO, the biggest things to becoming a "master" at writing parodies are being patient and listening to advice when it's offered. It may also help to get a funny idea then pick a song to set it to, rather than trying to parody a particular song.
