Hello, I am new to the boards.
I like the looks of this place and am happy I decided to join. I do plan to record some of my original songs and parodies and then share them (If I can do that in a different board).
By the way, I have a good vocabulary when typing. Mainly because I absolutely loathe chatspeak.

Welcome. I don't chat speak a whole lot but I do abbrev. loads cuz I think faster than I type. ;D

Any form of abbreviations ot text speak is ruining the written language.

Agreed, but sometimes it's acceptable. Like if you're running late for something.

True. I usually only save it for AIM or MSN.
There's no place for it on a forum, which is used sometimes to gain information.
