Subject: Time to introduce myself

I'm a 33 year old female, originally from Staten Island NY and now in San Jose CA.
I like just about all kinds of music except for rap and hip-hop. I'm not too crazy about "grunge" either, but I can handle listening to it for a short time.
I like The Beatles, The Platters, The Bee Gees, Erasure, OMD, Thompson Twins, Journey, pre-grunge Metallica, Scorpions, Billy Joel, UB40, Queen, and many many more.
I don't think this is my decade. I don't like the clothes, the music, the cars, the tv shows or the commercials. The only thing I really watch on TV anymore is football. Football has pretty much remained the same.
I enjoy this forum alot - it is nice to see there are others like me who just don't seem to fit in this decade. You guys have brought back alot of good memories, and I plan to stick around here for awhile. :)
