my name is Ange and i am looking for a song that was written in 1992 i think the artist was Sade and i was told she wrote it for her daughter who was born that year...does any body have any idea of what i am looking for

Hello again,
I think the song you are looking for is "The Sweetest Gift" by Sade. This was written for her daughter and starts with the lines;
"Quietly while you were asleep
The moon and I were talking
I asked that she'd always keep you protected..."
This song is on the album "Lover's Rock" which was released in 2000. This was her first album for 8 years, so it might have featured older songs. I don't know any more about it, I'm sorry. I hope this is the song you're looking for...
