Hiya Stompgal!
Welcome to the site. :D
I've heard of all of them coming from Britain myself. I like a little of Gareth Gate's stuff (I couldn't understand why he had to cover 'Spirit in the sky' by Norman Greenbaum/Dr and the Medics).
I don't mind Westlife but have just got over the fact that they copied Billy Joel's 'Uptown Girl'!
Steps, Atomic Kitten, and Blue are o,k (be ya by Atomic Kitten is class!)
But Sugababes and Liberty X are boring. Sorry ;).
You will find there are a lot of British people on the site. I'm sure they will know these singers and groups as well.
Great to have you aboard!
Bobby.

Welcome there, Stompgal!
Named after one of the last Steps singles then, I see...
Big pop fan, then? Must admit that I'm a sucker for a good pop tune. Steps, were great. Now, however, five solo careers are created. H + Claire amalgamated, and I think they can now make it good.
Gareth Gates was my ex girlfriend's favourite. Learnt to tolerate him in time. I mean, why not? He never hurt me.
S Club - always great for a good tune - what irony that their last song was called Say Goodbye, eh? Loved the one in the snow - Never Had A Dream Come True. Atomic Kitten, another great pop band as they go. Sugababes I have a penchant for. Blue - great concept, an RnB boy-band. I'm not sure if it can work - I prefered their pure pop to anything else - songs like If You Come Back.
Destiny's Child - can't stand. Don't ask me why...
Liberty X seem to have made it good from what they had...
Welcome, anyhow.
