Ah, i see. I really can`t say that about the N.Y.C. area (S.I.), although most people are friendly. i try to get away whenever possible by riding to the mountains in Jersey & P.A.--N.C. is a little to far but i did ride through it on my way to Florida a few years ago.(not for bikeweek)

Yes, Myrtle Beach hosted its annual Bike Week a few weeks ago. Myrtle Beach is about 45 minutes from me (I don't live far from the §outh Carolina line.)
It's nice to meet you, 98vfr -- next time you pass through the Carolinas, stop and visit a while!
