Hello! I graduated high school in 1989 so I actually remember the 80's and this sight brought a smile to my face! Even though I am 31 I still listen to the music of my youth and I will be a goth/punk chick till the day I die! ;D

The whole goth thing is out of proportion these days. You can get called a goth just because you wear something remotely black or if you wear a hoodie which nearly everyone is doing. You can also get called a goth for liking all these non-gothic type bands like I dunno Linkin Park, Papa Roach.
I wouldn't exactly call myself a goth because I don't like the label, but I'm into "goth" bands if you must say.
Bands like Opeth, Otep, Danzig, Raging Speedhorn, Hatebreed, Stampin' Ground, Sikth, Tool, Nile. But I do like other bands like NIN, MM, Deftones, Manics, The Smiths, Idlewild, King Adora, At The Drive-In, old Alkaline Trio, G n' R, The Music, RHCP and amazingly some Jazz.
