So, coupla weeks ago, DJ Earworm drops this mega one-hour-long mashup consisting of a crapload of hits from 2008:

Now, I've pegged 92 of those songs (which I'll list in a tick) but there's one that I can't put my finger on. It shows up at 17:50, right underneath P!nk's "So What", with the light guitar riff and all. Can anyone work out just what the hell the song is please? I'm tearin' out my hair here.

If you're referring to the Bzzzzt-bzzzzt sounds that start at 17:35-17:50 that aren't part of "Elevator", they're the same ones at 3:10 in Britney Spears' "Circus".

Or do you mean the guitar riff from 17:50 through 18:15ish overtop Pink (and I'm not sure what remix that is, the Bimbo Jones remix?)  Now that's a harder problem!

That'd be the latter riff that I'm after.

Thanks for confirming it because I wasn't entirely sure.  And because I wouldn't have discovered that mix without your background research.  One of the reasons I keep coming back here, even if it's not as often as I used to.
