Subject: Please help ID pop song: 80s-ish soprano

Heard on the radio late night in June but they wouldn't answer email inquiries... no success after endlessly googling chorus lyric fragment which (I think...) is "Let(?) me love..." (or similar 3 syllables) repeated several times esp. at the end. In the chorus, "love" starts high, is sustained, descending 3 notes, then 1 up at the end.
This is sung by a female soprano, sounds a lot like Blondie but couldn't find anything of hers that matched.
Uptempo pop with prominent keyboard. Probably a late 70s-80s song and artist, as the same radio show did include a Blondie tune... and also Evelyn Champagne King...
Driving me nuts, esp. since I've heard this song before and it's slightly familiar from the past.

Nailed it in one -- a good way to kill an evening is trawling through remixes of Donna Summer's I Feel Love.
It gets remixed every year or two, I'll toss out the 10:50 Disconet remix from the 80s as the granddaddy of 'em all, the 7:26 Razormaid remix from damned-if-i-know-when, the kinda-acid-like Thick Wristed Rex mix from 1993, the 9:14 Illicit Remix from 2003, and I realize it's been a few years, so there goes the rest of my night.
