Subject: Absolute Body Control: "Figures"

Written By: Foo Bar on 09/17/12 at 10:33 pm

I just found this little gem and tossed it into our Obscure 80s songs thread, and then noticed that I couldn't find the lyrics anywhere.  There weren't many to transcribe, so here they are.  I think.

  - Absolute Body Control, Figures, 1983.

Figures on the big white screen, (big wide screen?)
I've seen 'em all before,
Life is just a funny stage, (body stage? bloody stage?)
Would you ask for more?
Said 1, 2, 3-4-5,
What else can we do? (What else can you do?)
People always die alone,
Nothing left for you.
And I say -
What's the name of the movie?
Figures are so groovy.

When they loaded up the gun,
That they shot to the wall, (?)
People start to scream and shout,
They feel nothing at all,
'Cept 1, 2, 3-4-5, ("said" or "except"?)
What else can we do?
People always die alone,
Nothing left for you.
And I say -
What's the name of the movie?
Figures are so groovy.
