The song I have in my head is one that is rather old and MAY start out "ONE - - - tadadata". I really need the song and author to this....I've got a parody in my head waiting for that song. :)
Kudos if you can help me. I think the part between one and whatever word are kind of a tap melody.

Sorry,that's not the song, the tadadata were words I didn't know. Thanks for the help...karma for you. :) (I was hoping it was the song)

Is it a disco song? rock song? rap?
male singer? female?
After the "One" is their a guitar riff, drum beat?
trying to narrow it down so we can help.
I am guessing it's "Count me in" by Gary Lewis and the Playboys?

Could be that too. Yup.
If I remember correctly, "Count me in" starts with a count "one...two..three" ( I don't have the song near me, just from memory)

Thank you all...now I'll have everybody scratching their heads. It's an old song and I may have the 'one' wrong, that was an example. There is tapping in between 'one' or five and the next set of words, which are possibly 5. or 6 words after. If that's not a puzzle don't know what is.
