Subject: Help identify 80s song "Goodbye"

Trying to identify a mid-eighties song called "Goodbye" or " Bye bye". Lyrics were something like:"Loving you has caused me so much pain, now the time has come for me to say bye bye (goodbye?)", and there was a sort of "electronic" voice repeating bye bye. The song had a kinda techno feel. Anyone has a clue?

1982, not really techno, and doesn't completely match your lyrics, but it qualifies under sorta-processed voice repeating "goodbye goodbye". So I'm going to guess Oingo Boingo, Goodbye, Goodbye, most commonly found in the end credits on Fast Times at Ridgemont High.
