Subject: Yeah song?

I'm after this song it's sung by a male vocalist all I can remember are the words at the end of the song it goes, "Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah" when he sings the yeah sounds more like he's chanting it and it's when the music stops when he chants the words yeah. It's like a rocky/ballad/alternative type song.
I think it's by an Australian artist but I'm not sure if it's an Aussie band or not, if anyone knows the song that I'm talking about please let me know would really appreciate it.

If it is Georgie Fame or Matt Bianco, the correct spelling is Yeh Yeh :P
There was also a song called 'The Yeah Yeah Yeah Song' by The Flaming Lips
There's also a US rock band called the Yeah Yeah Yeahs :D

Thanks for all your help but the song I mean is by an Aussie male artist a solo artist not a band and is a slow song and the artist chants the yeah part at the end of the song there's like a pause the music stops and he sings/chants words, "Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah" I think he says it about five times. It's a nice song I believe it's a ballad (a rock ballad), if anyone can help me would be most appreciative.

It could be this: Cat Stevens - Banapple Gas. :-\\ The artist's not Australian though... Definitely not one of Cat's international smash hits, although it hit #7 in our Top 40.
