This song has been stuck in my head for months. I think it came back to me after seeing an AT&T commercial. I don't even know if I've got the lyrics correct.
The song is definitely from the 80's and the singer could be British with a somewhat high voice.
Any help would be appreciated.

Just for the heck of it, here's trivia on the song ...
- It was the group's biggest (and first Top 40) hit in their native UK. It first reached #26 in 1985, then re-charted at #3 in 1991
- In 1986, the song got to #71 in Canada, but did not chart at all in the United States
