Can someone help me find out the name of a tune and the artist? It came out in the 90's ( I believe) and the lyrics I remember are:
"The sky was falling. Heaven was calling. An angel crashes, rise up from the ashes" Then something about "drifting, floating, captured, raptured"

The song is most likely "Love Among the Ruins" by 10000 Maniacs.

You're welcome, and I gave you a karma point since it took you so long to find the lyrics.
In the future, if you Google "lyrics The sky was falling. Heaven was calling" (no quotation marks), or whatever you may need, you will probably find them in about 15 seconds.
I wish I could say it took me longer than that, but at least now you won't have to wait years for the next song that stumps ya. :)
