I was trying to remember name of a song that came out in the '70's... Cher sang it on the Sonny and Cher Variety Show
The basic moral of the store is mountain villagers had a buried treasure and the valley people killed the villagers for the treasure, but what they found was a stone that had peace on earth good will to men on it.

The song was "One Tin Soldier" by Coven or the Original Caste.. I don't know who was first.
It was the theme song for Billy Jack.
