I'm pretty sure the song was also in the movie Christine, I looked up the movie specs but there are no music credits listed.

It's not Boom Boom Boom by John Lee Hooker is it?  That was in The Blues Brothers

hahaha, thats the exact same thing that happend to me....i saw it, i couldnt remember it, it bugged me, i got on the interent, and there it was.......the internet is a WONDERFUL thing lol.  i dont know wat we did w/o internet, but there were probably many more insane people, lol.

how odd it was the same thing for me however i took it a step further and found th e artists: billy gilman or aaron carter

I don't know about crappy recent covers, but I know it was done by Huey Lewis, and some artist way before that.  And I recognized it immediately from the commercial.

haha I just saw this commercial too and stumbled on this board looking for the answer... and I already had it in iTunes!  The original version is a 50s hit sung by Thurston Harris.

:D i saw the commercial for the first time tonight, and the song was driving me doolally and all  evening i kept wondering, so i went on line and found  this page, and as i start  reading, it comes on again! so weird...

The commercial is making a return for summer of 2006.  Thanks so much for previous posting.  The song sure is a "littile bitty pretty one".
