Wang Chung, "Dance Hall Days"...I can't recall all the lyrics at the moment, but what is he singing that sounds like "we were cool on Christ?" (This from the guy who always heard "revved up like a deuce" as "wrapped up like a douche" in "Blinded by the Light", artist unknown by my humble self.)

Someone posted incorrect lyrics for "King Of Wishful Thinking" by Go West. I did a google search and found the Go West song. I'm not even gonna tell you what the Misheard lyrics site said about the phrase "I'll pretend my ship's not sinking"

This song I am talking about is "King Of Wishful Thinking by Go West" This song is also on the "Pretty Woman" soundtrack.

#18 was talking about Blinded By The Light from the original post (although actually it was Springsteen who wrote it, and Manfred Mann who made the most popular version)

Blinded By The Light is not from ELO! Blinded was written and first performed by Bruce Springsteen. The famous version of this song (that became a #1 song in 1977) was performed and released by Manfred Mann's Earth Band.
Stop making this an ELO song, it never was and they never recorded the song! To me that's just blatantly ignorant to continue to think the song was from ELO!
