Subject: Female rap song of the 80s...driving me crazy for months now!!
Written By: Megan on 02/28/05 at 8:30 pm
Help Please! I have been trying to think of this song for months now and it is driving me insane! I have no idea who sings it or what the name of it is. I know it had to have been out like in
1984-1985-1986...somewhere around there. I only remember bits and pieces, but it starts out with a girl calling her bf, another girl answers (is Jimmy (?I think that was his name) there, yeah but he's taking a shower, why..did he just take out the trash...no thats something he used to do, now he's taking out me) then they go back and forth...and I think there is a third girl in there cause I remember a part saying something about (that's enough, here give me the phone, hey tramp take a bath (?) and puke)..then they continue to go back and forth at one point one of says something about doing her dad, she says her dad is dead, they say, thats how we like em, tall, stiff and ready...then something about tying a mattress to your back...lol. Does this sound familiar to anyone?? Please please let me know if it does, before I go insane!!! :D Thanks.

I can't believe I know this, but the song you're looking for is:
If A Girl Answers (Don't Hang Up) by Vanity Six

That's it...thank you very much! Much relief...lol. Don't ask me why I was thinking of this. It just popped in my head one day cause I remembered it from when I was like in 7th or 8th grade...geez I feel so old! But many thanks.
