Written By: DON3606 on 12/06/04 at 5:14 pm
I AM LOOKING FOR A SONG - MADE IN THE LATE 50'S OR 60'S - AN ARMY SONG WITH LYRICS LIKE:
"WE FIRED OUR GUNS AND THE BRITISH KEPT A COMMING," __________________________
"WE FIRED ONCE MORE AND ___________________________________________________
"DOWN THE MISSISSIPPI TO THE GULF OF MEXICO"
IT HAS A DRUM ROLE THROUGHT THE SONG, AND WAS PLAYED ON THE RADIO IN THE DETROIT AREA
QUITE A BIT.  I DON'T KNOW THE ARTIST, OR THE NAME OF THE SONG.  IF ANYONE KNOWS IT - THAT WOULD BE GREAT.
