Subject: U2's, "Stay (Far Away So Close)" - Answer to Edgar's ?

U2's, "Stay (Far Away So Close)"
The Nonsensical Lyrics:
Green light, seven eleven you stop in
For a pack of cigarettes
You don't smoke
Don't even want to
Hey now check your change
Why They're Nonsensical:
Usually love Bono's lyrics but em...if someone doesn't smoke, why are they gonna go to seven eleven and buy some cigarettes?

That's simple - to break a big bill. Obviously the woman being spoken too in this song has too much money, and is probably into the drug/party scene in a big way.
