It was Fisher and I think they are going to call it "Beautiful life" and if all goes well the full length version will be on their new CD hopefully coming out in March 2005.

Did you really write the song? I was just wondering...So Fisher is the band who did the song? My boyfriend and I had a bet on it. He thought that it was Alanis Morissette, and I didn't think it was. I haven't heard of Fisher until now, but I knew it wasn't Alanis.

I've had no luck on the Toyota Website with the alledged 1minute download. Any ideas? I'd love to include this on a Powerpoint presentation that I am making. Help me please...

It's too bad that it's not available now. By 3-2005, nobody will remember it anymore. Maybe Fisher should sell it on iTunes as a download now while everyone is interested. Maybe create an EP of some other great songs by Fisher so that everyone will learn to love the group by the time the new CD comes out.

Totally Agree! Although, Their/her stuff is available on Real Rhapsody... AND IT IS GOOD... they definitely deserve a large fan follow.

Been a month since you posted this so hopefully you check this forum and will read it....i noticed that no one has yet thanked you for writing such an awesome song.  Saw the commercial today - and have always loved the song...enough to stop what i was doing just to watch and listen to the commercial - and only now had the bright idea of looking it up online - and found the Fisher The Band web site.  I'm exploring the site and sampling the sounds...good stuff! Just wanted to let you know Ron that you wrote a very inspiring song!  Thanks!

Alot of their songs are very well done.

The only problem I can see are the comparisons to Alanis Morrisete and Natalie Merchant that will inevitably happen.

I like both these artists though, and think that Fisher's lead singer (who also happens to be drop-dead gorgeous) has the vocal ability to branch off into more types of music that we've been privy to hearing from them so far.  "Beautiful Day" marks what seems to be a high point in her singing career because the song isn't just well vocalized, it's alot more positive, motivational, and upbeat than some of their previous work.

Good stuff.  I'll be looking for the CD in March.

If this is the Ron Wasserman that I'm familiar with, then he's actually an accomplished, 3rd generation composer.  It's funny that he found this forum.

Ron did basically the first 12 months of internet marketing for Fisher, and is the "somewhat silent partner of (Kathy) Fisher". He co-wrote the songs and produced the CDs.

If you enjoyed the Fisher track (I did!), you might also enjoy Devo, "Beautiful World" (1981, from "New Traditionalists") and the cover by "R.U.O.K" (aka RUOK) on a 90's industrial compilation album "Newer Wave 2.0".  Totally different tracks - one 's classic new-wave, the cover's much more ambient - but both could go in well with a mix.

omg...i love that song and have been looking everywhere for it....where did you find it??...and also when i downloaded the clip, i only got like the chorus, is that all that the clip is?? and, if so, is it possible to get the full song?...and is that song like out on CD yet??

We had an event last night with Toyota as the sponsor of the event. I produced the multimedia for the event and had to work in a DVD they presented to us. This song had been in my head since Wednesday, when I heard it while working with their stuff. Last night, the production crew from Disneyland was commenting on the song as the Toyota spot ran. It really seems to resonate.
