I can't remember most of the song, but here's some lines that I remember.

Someone told me it was George Duke, but I can't find anything from George Duke like that.

Wondering if you found the lyrics you were looking for. I've been looking for the same song. I think it's either by Ray Parker Jr. (from the group Raydio) or Michael Henderson who also did "Wide Receiver" somewhere around 1978 or a bit later. I'm still looking for the piece, so it you've found it please let me know the artist and song title. Thanks
