The chorus simply says :
Hold me, hold me, hold me
Hold me, hold me, hold me
Though maybe you are thinking of one of the verses, which says :
I don't want no damage
But how'm I gonna manage with you
You hold the percentage
But I'm the fool payin' the dues
That could have words sounding like bennie ? ???

You mean they're not saying "bennie" ?? :o
(I'm kidding)
I think the problem is in the chorus where the "I wanna bennie" is coming from. I always thought the chorus was "hold on to me". :-[

I always thought they were saying "All over me". ::) I think it's just the way they stretch the notes a bit and the voices blend.

I always thought they were singing: "Harmony"
instead of 'Hold Me'
they hold the note longer. :)
