Subject: What a girl wants...
In Christina Aguilera's "What a Girl Wants" Single Remix, I'm trying to figure out what she's saying near the end of the song. After she hits the high note in "knew" of the line, "...you're the one who always knew...OOOoooOoo" the chorus repeats in the background until the end of the song and Christina sings on top of it. This is what I figured out so far, but I'm hoping someone can help me fill in the brackets:
Oooo I'm thanking you for being here for me-(yeah) (you can hear the chorus in the back)
Whatever keeps me in your arms is what I need...OoooooOOOOooOooOOo
[Here I'm not sure what she's saying, something like "Oh, it's what all I can give you/Oh it's what I want"? Please correct me if I'm wrong]
What I need, what I want's you-[here it sounds like she's saying "girl-yeah" but that doesn't make sense]
Oh baby [I don't know what she's saying here]
Oh baby, Oh darling, Thank you thank you for giving me what I want
I turn around and stare/Whenever you're not there (song fades out)
